Celebration of Life for Nikki Kuhnhausen

Join us in celebrating the life of transgender teen Nikki
Kuhnhausen on Sunday, March 1st at 5:30 pm at Clark College in Geiser Hall.

The celebration of life is being organized by Nikki’s mom, Lisa Kuhnhausen-Woods, and the group Justice for Nikki.

Nikki Kuhnhausen was a 17-year-old transgender youth who was murdered in June 2019, and her body was discovered on December 7, 2019. Nikki’s alleged killer has been arrested and charged with second degree murder in addition to a hate crime.

Nikki was one of 26 trans people murdered in the United States last year. Sadly, many of these other victims shared Nikki’s story of being killed by a man who reacted violently upon learning about their gender identity.

Justice for Nikki is a grassroots group of activists, transgender community members and parents of trans youth who are assisting the Kuhnhausen family in bringing attention to
Nikki’s tragic death.
